Services

John Paul II Centre is providing real answers to the challenges faced by so many families today.  It answers the way we can improve the communications, mutual respect, and spiritual dimensions of life in our homes. The activities of the centre are directed by the Legionaries of Christ and members of its Lay Association.  

Among the activities run out of Dal Riada are:  

 

 

 

 

 

  • Counselling Referrals – Provides referral in the following services:  psychiatrists, child psychologists, psychotherapists and other mental health professionals who share the Centre's vision of the family.
     
  • Couples Reflection – Provides quality time for couples including guided reflections, time for prayer and celebration of the Eucharist.
     
  • Evenings of Reflection – Step back from your busy life for an evening of prayer and renewal. Held monthly for men and women.
     
  • Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations – Held on the first Monday of every month beginning with mass at 10:00am. 
      
  • Familia – An international programme for parent committed to the well-being of the family, helping parents build self confidence and awareness of the faith.
       
  • Family Counselling - Personalise counselling by appointment.
      
  • Family Day - Offers an opportunity for families to come together who share the similar values.   “The future of humanity passes by way of the family.” (John Paul II)
     
  • Guest Speaker - Need a speaker for your event?  We can provide an experience speaker to enlighten any events in the areas of family, faith, the gospel...
      
  • Half-day Retreat – Time set aside for prayer, spiritual guidance and renewal of your faith. 
      
  • Major Truths Course – A course based on the Catechism of the Catholic church that expounds the truths of the faith.
      
  • Mother’s Reflections – Find wisdom, help and support in your vital role as a mother. Come and meet other mothers who share your concerns for children growing up in today's society.
      
  • Spiritual Direction - A spiritual direction by appointment.
      
  • Weekend Retreats - A 3-day retreat to renew and strengthen your spiritual growth and deepen your commitments to Christ.
